Al is an experienced litigator and trial advocate who fights for our clients' interests on all phases of their cases. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Al has first-chaired over 40 trials, and he has repeatedly secured wins on his cases through both written briefs and successful courtroom advocacy.

Prior to joining Stuart D. Morse and Associates, Al worked as a criminal prosecutor in Pueblo, Colorado, where he was recognized for his victim advocacy, and successfully prosecuted crimes ranging from sex crimes and child abuse, to domestic violence and felony assault. He has worked as a litigator at another Denver firm, and litigated factually complex federal cases as an attorney at Earthjustice. In Al's pro bono practice, he has helped underprivileged members of our community navigate our legal system, and has fought for and successfully won rulings granting political asylum in his immigration work.

While in law school, Al served as an editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation and the Harvard Environmental Law Review, he clerked for a U.S. House of Representatives committee's investigative staff, and he taught as an instructor at Boston College. When Al isn't litigating cases, he enjoys biking, rock climbing, and exploring the Mountain West.
