Joseph P. Kiley
Joseph Kiley joined Stuart D. Morse & Associates in 2015, and is an associate with the firm. Mr. Kiley earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. While in school, Mr. Kiley clerked at several different law firms, including spending a summer with an insurance defense firm in his hometown of Orlando, Florida. During his final year of law school, Mr. Kiley honed his research and writing skills at a prominent personal injury firm in Chicago. He gained invaluable experience working at a plaintiffs' firm, which he now utilizes when defending his clients. At DePaul, Mr. Kiley assisted Professor John Decker in researching emerging Illinois criminal law and drafting case summaries to supplement Professor Decker's text, Illinois Criminal Law: A Survey of Crimes and Defenses. Mr. Kiley also contributed to DePaul's Journal for Social Justice as an assistant editor.
After graduating in May 2015, Mr. Kiley moved to Colorado to take the bar and begin practicing law. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, snowboarding and traveling. While an undergrad and during law school, he studied abroad in Prague, Rome and Vienna. Mr. Kiley's brother and sister-in-law are both attorneys in Orlando, and his father practiced law before switching fields to investment banking.
